Meet the Founder – Elise Rodriguez, LMFT

Hi, my name is Elise Rodriguez.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the CEO of Beauty for Ashes Transformation Center. Let me tell you a little bit about myself.

I am a naval officer’s daughter and a naval officer’s wife. Many life experiences encountered along the way directed my path to become a therapist.

Starting from a very young age, I quickly had to walk through the pain of loss when I found out my father had passed from this world. From that point forward, my mother, now single and struggling to walk through debilitating grief, was responsible for raising my siblings and me. Life was not easy, and as a matter of fact, it impacted my family for many years to come.

I have experienced everything from addiction to losing many of my friends to death. Some of those events should have caused me to give up or give in to the pain. But that is not my story.

I am the mother of 4 beautiful daughters and have been married for 35 years. The years have not always been easy. I understand the struggles of raising children, the difficulties of married life, and the transitions in life that we all must go through. Been there, done that. Through it all, I developed an abundant life. I hike, travel, and enjoy good food and family. I laugh a lot, and I have a solid positive mental attitude. Even though I have experienced everything life can throw at you, I love my life.

Why am I a therapist?

Because of my walk through so many of life’s obstacles, I wanted to help others achieve health, happiness, and hope. I know it’s possible.

There were times in my life when it felt like I was in a boxing ring, got knocked down, and the referee was on the number 9. I didn’t think I could get up and had enough fight left. But I got up right before the referee counted to 10 and called a victory for the opponent.

If I can do it, so can you. That’s why I became a therapist so that others might experience the joy, peace, laughter, hope, and purpose I achieved. I want to share my learned skills with the world, shouting them from the rooftops. You can live an abundant life! That’s why I became a therapist.

Beauty for Ashes Transformation Center came into existence out of the desire to continue to reach more people with the message of hope and healing. I started the company to raise an army of trained therapists to help you achieve your goal. My heart desire is to reach as many people as possible with this message: you don’t have to suffer your whole life. You can live an abundant life. Out of that desire, I created Beauty for Ashes.

We are a team of therapists who share the same vision, have the same desire, have experienced the ups and downs of life, and want to share our knowledge with you.
